DIALECTIC Concerto for piano, percussion and wind ensemble is a piece written about dialectics. This piece, which reflects the intellectual thought process equivalent to a thesis-antithesis-synthesis is a three-movement piece composed of a third tier seating arrangement wind ensemble that includes a piano and two percussionists. Each movement is I. Confused Arrangement, II. Uncomfortable Settlement, III. As Synthesis, 3, an important number in dialectic, was mainly used. The idea of dialectic, which derives the conclusion of 3 in the third stage of the logical process, also represents the sound form in music as if two players are exchanging in half. The first movement, Confused Arrangement, leads to the second movement, where the confused rhythms are stabilized under the title of Uncomfortable Settlement. However, the second movement, which is still contrary to the unstable first movement, is not completely separate musically and proceeds to the conclusion, Synthesis. In the third movement, the 'Confused Arrangement' of the first movement finally acquires a logical and rational form and structural aesthetics through the second movement.
